2024 marked the 16th (2 to the power of 4) anniversary of Pinecone Moonshine. This year added 7 releases with 2 vinyl albums and a limited 10" lathe cut:

2024 was a big year of remixes. You can see a graph of who has remixed who here. Also we gave quite a bit of space to exploring other subgenres of dnb while still including a good amount of drumfunk, chopped breakbeats, and deep soundscapes.
In August, I put up a 45 minute Summer Mix of PCMS dnb/drumfunk. I wanted to record more mixes this year, but am always balancing multiple projects and that goal had to get postponed.

And outside of PCMS, I wrote a track with TvMcC which came out on Evel. This was a fun project where TvMcC covered much of the sound design and I contributed the drums and saxaphone. I wrapped up the arrangement from a coffee shop in Pasadena as I had some free time before catching Paradox at the Vibration Centre show back in February.
Many thanks again for the support. One of the most impactful ways to help the label keep going is by sharing the music with others: through DJ mixes, posting videos, and taking the time to mention Pinecone Moonshine or the artists you love hearing.
The schedule for 2025 is mostly planned at this point. Just a few tracks still in progress and artwork to create. Coming up first will be an EP by Opius and Dacamera with remixes by myself and Profane.
