[PCMSNT013] Nic TVG - And / Clay Street Market / Er ist Immer Müde II

“And” is my attempt to write drumfunk using the approach from when I started Pinecone Moonshine: long ambient drones, a familiar break chopped in an odd pattern, and some less serious or weird accent sounds.

“Clay Street Market” is a mid-tempo piece built around clicks from a faulty field recording. I planned to use it on my upcoming album. Ultimately the tone of the track didn't fit.

“Er ist Immer Müde II” is part wispy, hollow ambient tones and rambling, syncopated drumming. It was written for my 2021 LP “I Know Where the Vultures Live.” A week before the album release, I pulled it. I felt it made the album too long. After letting it sit for a year, I came back to it and reworked parts of the drum patterns.
